Celebrity Equinox Cruise Ship

On Celebrity’s Equinox ship within the Sky Observation Lounge sits a puzzle-piece sculpture on an elevated landing that seemed too bare on its own. For designers, the solution was to include an elegant material to serve as the backdrop for the sculpture. Their choice was Fabricoil® metal wire mesh.

The 3/8” aluminum Fabricoil mesh is finished in a rich Satin Gold color that complements the deep tan tones of the sculpture. The coiled metal wire mesh panel is fastened to Cascade Architectural’s Steel Secura Track attachment, which allows the system to slide along a hardware channel to either side if desired.

Fabricoil’s semi-transparency also enables the sculpture to be visible no matter what angle it is observed from as well as maintaining a complete view of the room. Fabricoil completes the artistic sculpture – the showpiece of the room – and brilliantly integrates with Celebrity Cruises’ upscale ambience.
