Sheryl Crow World Concert Tour

Setting the stage for Sheryl Crow’s world tour, Cascade Architectural was called upon to deliver free-hanging coiled wire fabric panels as a backdrop to the equipment and performers.

The semi-transparent Fabricoil® panels in Bright Pearl Gray add an elegant touch to the performance without inhibiting the openness of the stage space. The material towers over the performers, sitting just below the elevated back half of the stage, which hosts the band’s drum kit, a piano, a keyboard, and the strings section.

The Fabricoil panels come to life as they interact with the carefully positioned stage lights. The amount of light the material holds depends on its weave size and the intensity of the light casted onto its surface.

For both still and animated projected images, Fabricoil is the perfect canvas. While the material does let light through, it still captures images to display to the crowd.

Fabricoil is a unique material with a variety of architectural applications. We encourage architects and designers to find new ways to apply the material each day, even if that means taking it on tour.
