Temple Beth Avodah, a reform Jewish religious community, is a place for members to nourish their minds, bodies, and souls. In addition to services, the temple hosts educational programs and opportunities to worship, socialize, participate in social justice, and build community.
Event rooms at Temple Beth Avodah provide a space for families to host special occasions including bar and bat mitzvah ceremonies, kiddushes, parties, and wedding receptions.
In renovating the temple, architects needed a modern, elegant backdrop for an artifact hanging in the new community room. Centered directly in front of floor-to-ceiling windows, Cascade 1/8” silver tin plated steel Fabricoil curtains brought this vision to reality.
The metal mesh provides the perfect “framing” for the artifact, which is enclosed in a protective glass case and suspended from the ceiling. Fabricoil completes the artful display, while simultaneously providing relief for occupants from sunlight passing through the large windows.
The curtains hang on custom built attachments with stainless steel S hooks that secure the system stably to the ceiling.
Viewable from the outside, the metal curtains provide an eye-catching architectural feature and draw attention to the temple’s important artifact
