Event company Hudson Gray produces NBCUniversal’s annual Upfront live show celebrating the NBC portfolio. A large stage was constructed to host light shows, videos, and pyrotechnics for the event. To enhance the experience even more, Fabricoil® curtains from Cascade Architectural were installed on the ceiling to highlight the space and add a unique visual element.

The decorative aluminum ¼” mesh curtains with a luxurious Satin Bronze finish were hung across center stage. Angular metal mesh panels on Hook with Steel Angle attachment systems provide a creative canvas for interplay with the lights.

Fabricoil panels were an optimal solution for the NBCUniversal event for a variety of reasons.

First, the lightweight metal mesh was easy to install and did not require additional supports to suspend the over the stage and the crowd. In addition, Fabricoil’s semi-transparency allows the material to uniquely absorb and reflect light. This allows the panels to take on new depth and dimension while simultaneously letting light permeate through to other panels within the installation.
