Michael Aram Showroom

The Michael Aram New York City Flagship Store, located in the heart of Chelsea, embodies the brand.

The space was originally a horse stable, transformed into a modern showroom and studio that showcases the full line of Aram collections from home décor and jewelry to dinner and serveware. The showroom is a work of art itself with display cases, lighting, and show display windows that required the implementation of a unique architectural material.

When the classic store was redesigned to deliver a relaxed, luxury experience, designers chose to include multiple ¼” steel Fabricoil® metal curtains with an Antique Copper finish. Connected to Cascade’s Steel Secura Track, the custom curtains can be easily drawn open or closed, providing a semi-transparent cover for the store’s front windows.

In addition to adding a high-end, sleek design element to the space, Fabricoil woven metal mesh promotes energy efficiency by reducing glare and moderating interior temperatures.
