Louis Vuitton, French fashion house and designer of leather goods, handbags, trunks, shoes, watches, jewelry, and accessories, needed to craft a luxury showroom for its Boston location.

The Boston retail store showcases luxury bags and accessories in secured cases and window displays. These windows, which show off some of the most sought-after fashion accessories available, required the implementation of a unique architectural material for security.

To provide a solution, designers chose to install 5/16” steel Fabricoil® metal mesh with a Satin Brass powder-coating finish for security screens in front of the glass. Gliding along Cascade’s Secura Steel Track, the curtains can be easily opened while the store is open to guests. During closed hours, the durable metal mesh provides a semi-transparent cover for the store windows.

The sleek security mesh effectively safeguards the store without sacrificing aesthetic appeal to the entrance or eliminating views. Cascade pre-engineered security screens are also fireproof, allow for free airflow, do not require large storage pockets, and are easy to install.
