Elephants Delicatessen

Since opening in 1979, Elephants Delicatessen has served gourmet, innovative food to Portlanders. The European market-inspired eatery prides itself on excellence, sustainability, and unity.

In 2009, Elephants Delicatessen’s growth allowed them to open a location in Portland International Airport, offering good food to travelers pre- or post-flight or during layovers.

To provide security along the busy hall without reducing visual appeal of the storefront, designers selected 5/16” Fabricoil® metal mesh curtains in a Brightened Aluminum finish. Secured with Cascade’s operable Steel Secura Track attachment, the curtains can be easily drawn open or closed to provide a semi-transparent security system for the restaurant during closed hours.

In addition to adding high-end visual appeal and durability, the semi-transparent material offers a high-quality security solution that still allows views – perfect for flexible spaces like airport corridors.
