Education First International Language Center

Education First (EF) provides education for global citizens with language learning and travel serving as the base for a cultural exchange. In 2016, EF opened a new English school in a 10-story building overlooking the Pacific Ocean in San Diego.

Architects designed a sustainable space guided by adding maximum natural daylight and views of the ocean. Energy-efficient systems and colorful, branded interior products were used to create functional and eye-catching amenities.

Sustainable and aesthetic materials were key in designing the vibrant space, and architects chose to install an enclosure utilizing Cascade’s 3/8” Aluminum Fabricoil® in a Brite Pearl Grey finish around the café. The metal mesh provides security for the café space during closed hours. Sliding along an Aluminum Secura Track with Double Valance attachment system, the curtains can be easily opened or closed as needed.
